Module Title – ‘How to make PowerPoint less boring’

e-Help Theme –ICT in the history classroom

Module Objectives - By the end of the module delegates will be aware of mistakes that teachers sometimes make in their use of PowerPoint; they will be familiar with a range of non-technical strategies and ideas for making PowerPoint presentations more interactive and stimulating, and some technical suggestions for increasing the impact and flexibility which PowerPoint affords. They will also have the opportunity to explore the potential use of these ideas and techniques in constructing their own PowerPoint presentations. Delegates should be able to make more consistently effective use of PowerPoint in their teaching after undertaking this module.
